After completing his mandatory articles required by the ICAP from KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co, one of the big 4 audit firm of the world. During my tenure at the firm, I was entrusted with the team leader role on various high profile engagements / assignments. His audit engagements of various companies belonging to different sectors / industries, particularly, investment companies, manufacturing & retail sector, oil & gas, IT industry. He opened eyes in the business pyramid of his grandfather’s establishment, which was started in 1956, involved in printing business till 1999 when, under the need of diversification, they entered into petrochemical business and styled it HTG Petrochemical Industries (Pvt) Ltd., Pakistan. In the year 2012, he joined Ceres Group of Companies as advisor to the BOD and his family as shareholder. In the same year 2012, the family also established a general trading company in U.A.E. under the name and style of HTG International, involved in the import and distribution of melamine crockery and other house hold items in the UAE markets Also engaged as advisor with the well known group of UAE, in the field of waste management and design, build, operate and manage integrated waste management
systems for the governments. The group has a significant presence in UAE and KSA and has so far done 5 cities in last 12 years in the gulf region which no other company did, Zia is based in Karachi as well as in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Mr. Naveed Sultan has extensive experience in advising local and international companies for effective tax planning and management. He has more than 10 years’ experience in audit, financial advisory, treasury and accounting. He has worked for Ernst & Young Karachi and Abu-Dhabi office and as Head of Finance in Herbion
Pakistan. He has also worked as Group chief financial officer of Nueplex Cinemas, MJB Construction, Excellency films, JB films. Group chief financial officer of Unity foods and hence has direct knowledge of industry. His prime area of focus under direct taxation includes tax compliance, investment analysis, cross border transactions and transfer pricing.

Mohsin Naeem is responsible for developing and expanding Income Tax, Sales Tax, Corporate Advisory and IT Advisory Services in the areas of ERP Practice, IS Governance & Performance, Project Risk Management, Security, Privacy & Continuity and IT Audit.

He has a wide range of experience of advising clients on tax planning, changes in tax regulations and assisting them in evaluating impact of changes, representations before the revenue and appellate authorities, advising to local and foreign investors on various incentives available for investment in different sectors, advising international business groups at planning and implementation stages. His advisory area includes power sector, non-resident contractors and manufacturing entities etc.

He has presented and advised on the automation of the core business processes and implementation of ERP packages to C-level executives of national and multinational organizations. He is well conversant with the corporate laws, foreign exchange regulations, regulatory environment and frame work, etc. He has also involved in advising on Foreign Exchange Regulations and assistance in obtaining requisite permissions and consents from the State Bank of Pakistan for repatriable investments and foreign currency loans from abroad, advising foreign investors on matters relating to setting up business in Pakistan and obtaining relevant permissions and approvals from the Board of Investments, State Bank of Pakistan, Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Ministry of Finance, etc.
